Many animals, from common ones like dogs and cats to exotic ones like snakes and parrots, can be maintained as pets.

Then, on rare instances, you see pets such as Kira, the wolf.

Kira was abandoned by her mother when she was only three days old and couldn’t live on her own; happily, Alida came to her rescue.

Furthermore, Alida took her in, reared her, trained her, and raised her like a dog, so she might have a second opportunity in life.

Wolves are wild in heart, and unlike dogs, lack generations of domestication in their DNA, therefore Kira was obviously tough to domesticate.

Alida had to work extra hard since she was wary of new things. Kira required a lot of socializing; she interacted with children, adults, and even other animals.

She is now entirely tamed and wouldn’t kill a fly after a lot of hard work.

Moreover, Alida removed Kira from the nursery when she was just 28 days old and continued to care for, feed, and train her.

Alida made sure she wasn’t afraid of the contemporary world by taking her on several outings.

Kira is now a completely tamed, content dog who shares her home with a 7-year-old kid whom she adores.

Passers-by frequently inquire about Alida’s experience living with wolves.
