These beautiful elephants with the group run to say ‘hello’ to the rescued baby elephant

Elephants are extremely clever, sensitive, and gregarious creatures.

When it comes to their kids, the overprotective elephants demonstrate a level of self-sacrifice unknown in other wild animals, even if the calf is from a different herd.

This lovely video demonstrates nothing less and confirms once again that elephants are incomparable than humans.

Dok Gaew is a two-year-old orphaned elephant that was rescued by volunteers at Thailand’s Elephant Nature Park.

When the tiny one arrived at the rehabilitation facility, he was afraid and disoriented.

And the keepers worried about how he would be welcomed by the herd.

They have no idea how the other elephants will respond!

But the young one had an unexpected greeting!

When the herd hears the 2-year-old baby sobbing from across the complex, they all rush to welcome him in one of the most heartwarming animal videos I’ve ever seen.

Despite the fact that Dok Gaew is inside a cage, the other elephants are shoving their trunks through the gaps in a kind attempt to console the unfortunate young creature.

They’re all relieved he’s no longer alone!

The heartwarming clip demonstrates once again what animals are capable of when it comes to assisting humans in need.

Elephants, in particular, are recognized for their gentle disposition, empathy, and kindness.

Perhaps humanity should study them more closely and learn from these magnificent creatures.
