The newborn elephant was just one month old once he was removed from his herd.

Thankfully for him, he was saved by Sheldrick Wildlife volunteer groups and given a second shot at existence.

Soon afterwards, the searchers discovered Pea as well as Pod, two abandoned ostrich youngsters, and transported them to the refuge as well.

They have no idea how well the elephants and ostriches would get on very well.

Jotto and Pea discovered the empathy and devotion they’d been missing in each other as immediately as they met.
