Penguin swims 5,000 miles every year for reunion with the human who saved his life

Joao Pereira de Souza, a study investigates the determinants’ fisherman from a tiny little island community near Brazil, discovered a young penguin, nearly dead and smeared with oil, sitting on rocky cliffs in his boat in 2011.

Joao, a kind-hearted person by temperament, has washed and fed the penguin.

Dindim was also given a name by him. Whenever the child had fully healed, the fisherman attempted to throw him down into the water a few weeks ago.

It’s whenever something heartbreaking has occurred. Dindim was adamant about not abandoning his hero.

Nevertheless, the recovered penguin vanished at some time.

“He remained with me after 11 months and afterwards vanished just after he replaced his covering with new feathers,” Joao explained.

But the penguin doesn’t seem to have forgotten who helped him when he was still in such severe need.

Within a week and months, this cute and little bird returned to the same beach that Joao had rescued him. The child saw the fishermen on the shore and drove him home.

From that day on, the South American Magellanic bird has swum 5,000 kilometers from the coasts of Argentina and Chile each year in order to be reconciled with the guy who saved his existence.
