Lovable cats find each other after years roaming the outdoors and now can never be apart

Lonesome Boy (LB) and Murray, two elderly cats, spent the majority of their lives outside in various sections of town.

On two different instances, good Samaritans from South Bend, Indiana found them.

When they discovered LB in a neighborhood one day, he was quite fragile and terrified of humans.

He had arthritis and metal shards buried in his legs from his terrible days as a stray.

As a result, he was taken into the care of the Meow Mission, and he gradually began to recuperate.

They immediately discovered that his wild attitude was a mask for a gentle soul yearning for affection.

LB enjoyed other cats and kittens, and being among them helped him come out of his shell.

LB changed his mind and chose to trust.

He had the loudest purr and began to love the attention of his human companions.

Murray has survived terrible weather throughout the years.

Moreover, when a kind lady saw him at a pizza establishment, she scooped him up. He was famished, just skin and bones, and filthy.

His mouth was infected, with sores, damaged teeth, and infections. Murray refused to budge despite the first bleak diagnosis.

Over the next six months, strangers continued to feed and care for him.

As a result, the rescue relocated into a much larger area last year, and LB and Murray were given a spacious room complete with a nice sectional sofa and cat stairs, compliments of their sponsors.

LB and Murray moved towards one other after he gained the guts to step onto the sofa.

Even though there was still plenty of room on the sofa to sprawl out, they began spending a lot of time reclining next to one other.
