Kitten found outside and insists on sitting on warm lap and watching her people and won’t leave their side

A tabby kitten persisted on sitting on a warm lap and staring at her humans, refusing to leave their side.

After being discovered outside without a mother, a litter of five newborn kittens was taken to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in Virginia.

Penny Richards, a rescue foster volunteer, didn’t hesitate to take them in.

The umbilical cords were still linked to the kittens, who were roughly two days old.

They were little and always in search of warmth and comfort.

Penny created a nice nest for them, complete with warm blankets and a cuddly toy, and began feeding them around the clock.

For the first week, they wore small protective onesies until they grew out of the habit.

Piccadilly or Dilly, the kitten’s runt, stood out from an early age. She was the tiniest of the lot and a delicate eater.

Penny had to work extra hard to get her to eat.

When the kittens were old enough to be adopted, they went straight to their new homes.

Dilly, the tabby girl, also met her ideal family.

Dilly, the mischievous cat, enjoys playing with Ronan’s tail and following her about the house.

She observes her older sister and attempts to emulate all she does.

When they’re not wrestling or sleeping, they’re presumably looking out the window next to each other, watching the world go by.
