We were travelling through such an area that had been severely impacted by the terrible wildfires, therefore they weren’t expecting to see much but ashes.

However, they noticed something emanating from the smoke. Two goats were anxiously attempting to make their way to safety.

The firefighters quickly came to a halt and addressed the innocent creatures to investigate on them.

They had clearly gone through a lot, and they needed water and sustenance. As a result, the generous volunteers shared themselves water and meal with the two animals.

After providing them with water as well as apples, the firemen contacted Animal Control and informed them of something like the donkeys.

“We phoned home base and requested that state wildlife officials come rescue the horses,” said fireman Harvey.
