But that wasn’t all; her human had also been rescued as a result of her stoicism.

A group of fisherman noticed the pup and thought it was weird to see a dog urgently swimming surrounded by floating goods such as a gasoline tank, a tackle box, and other stuff.

One fisherman contacted the Moreton Bay Police Department, which quickly launched a rescue operation.

They first dragged the weary dog out of the water. Heidi, the brave dog, was transported to a veterinarian for medical attention.

The dramatic rescue continued when a helicopter, four police vessels, and Coast Guards arrived at the site, according to News.

Heidi’s owner was also found by the rescue crew a few seconds later.

The 63-year-old guy was attempting to jump into a sinking 13.5-foot watercraft off the shore.

“The boat lost power the evening before and began to take on water,” he subsequently informed officials.

He also stated that he and Heidi were separated the moment the boat began to sink.

The intrepid doggy managed to swim for 11 hours before she was found by the fisherman.

Her owner is now alive as a result of her extraordinary efforts.
