Famous photographer discovers pair of sleepy bees napping in the middle of a flower

Bees, believe it or not, play an important role in our lives.

Around 70% of the world’s agriculture is reliant only on bees.

Pollination is carried out by bees, however because the plants would be unable to reproduce, the fauna would have perished in a short period of time.

As a result, the fame of these small hard workers has been earned.

Bees have recently been named the most significant living organisms on the planet.

Even if you’re a super-insect with a reputation for being a tireless worker, you need to get some rest.

What better place to slumber than in the middle of a flower?

Fortunately, a wildlife photographer was able to snap a few of bees napping after a hectic morning.

Joe Neely was out for a walk with his fiancée in Arizona’s blossoming fields when he took these incredible photos.

This bee species is known as Diadasia diminuta or the globe mallow bee, according to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service.

They were given the name Globe Mallows after one of their favorite flowers.

The species can only be found in the wild, and it is vital to the flower’s reproduction.
