Kim, a wildlife rescuer for Hamilton Animal Services, noticed a pregnant cat wandering around the neighborhood looking for food two months ago.

She rescued the cat and requested help from Karly and Katelyn Saltarski, cofounders of Salty Wildlife Rehabilitation.

The expecting cat mother was finally able to rest and catch some shuteye in a calm, safe area after surviving on the street for much of her life.

Banksy, the cat, gradually came out of her shell and learned to like being handled.

She was bashful but thrilled with her new accommodations and the plenty of food at her disposal.

Mother Banksy went into labor some few days later and gave birth to seven healthy tuxedo babies.

Karly jumped in to assist with cleaning up the babies and relocating the kitty family to the cozy, warm nest.

Banksy’s mother instinct kicked in after a few hours, and she did her best to care for her offspring.

Karly began supplementing them while Banksy kept them clean and loving, with seven hungry mouths to feed.

Two of the newborns need round-the-clock care. Bob, the frailest of the group, recovered thanks to medical care and tube feeding.

Mama Banksy was overjoyed for the assistance, since she was still adjusting to life as an indoor cat.

Karly felt it was time to call in her faithful canine sidekick, Nood, when the kittens were around three weeks old.
