Boy scouts made moving shelters from storage tots for roaming cats to keep them warm in winter

Roaming animals especially need human care and compassion.

It’s very satisfying to see a group of Boy scouts caring about the feral cats and kitties to stay warm in winter.

A Boy Scout and his team started a project named DIY.

They created isolated cat shelters for cats to stay warm during the winter.

Afterwards, they are going to donate these small cat houses to another animal project called Lifeline that is also concerned about the roaming cat’s wellbeing during the wintertime.

These feral cats usually have shorter lives than others because of their conditions.

They may have difficulties in health if they don’t live in a shelter.

If they are taken care well, they will live between 10 and 15 years.

Because of bad conditions, roaming cats usually live from 2 to 5 years.

The Lifeline Project was amazed by these colorful small houses and were very thankful.

They said that they will give them to their cat colonies of thrown and abandoned kitties.

The project also shared some advises on how to deal with roaming cats in case you came across with them.

If they look good, it means that they had a mother who cared for them.

If you see that they are dirty, you should take them to a shelter or give them to a rescue group.

We are sure that roaming cats will be grateful for the human kindness.
